West Lake area, Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China.
Longjing is considered China’s most famous green tea and is named after the “Dragon Well” near West Lake.

Appearance
- Flat, spear-shaped leaves.
- Light green to yellowish color.
- Handmade using pan-firing techniques that flatten and dry the leaves.
Flavor Profile
- Smooth, vegetal, slightly nutty (chestnut-like) flavor.
- Sweet and delicate, with little bitterness if brewed properly.
- Very refreshing, known for its umami quality.

- "Longjing" literally means “Dragon Well”, a real spring located in Hangzhou.
