It is one of China’s traditional famous teas and was listed among the top ten Chinese teas.

Flat, oval-shaped leaves resembling melon seeds.
No buds or stems—only the second leaves are used.

Fun Fact

"Guapian" means "melon seed" due to the unique shape of the leaves.
One of the few Chinese green teas made without buds or stems.
It was served as a tribute tea to emperors during the Qing Dynasty.
