Huangshan Maofeng (Yellow Mountain Fur Peak)

Origin

Grown in the Huangshan (Yellow Mountain) region of Anhui Province, China.
It is one of China’s most famous green teas, known for its high elevation, misty mountains, and rich biodiversity.

Appearance

Slender, slightly curved leaves resembling orchid buds.
Covered with fine white down.
One bud and one leaf picked early in the spring.

Flavor Profile

Delicate and smooth taste with a sweet, floral fragrance.
Light vegetal notes and slight nuttiness.
Very refreshing and mellow, with no bitterness.

Brewing Tips

Water temperature: 75–85°C (167–185°F)
Infusion time: 1–2 minutes
Best enjoyed in glass or porcelain teaware.
